I've been bidding on a beautiful bike on ebay. Just what I've been looking for.
So what did I do when it was about to end ?....fell asleep !!! :doh
Could have got a bargain too.:bigcry:
Today I'll be paying closer attention to another one. :icon_rolleyes:

Thanks mate.
Yeah, I put down a maximum figure, but really I should have put a higher one....cos I would have gone higher, by quite a lot.
I lost it by 10 quid. :icon_rolleyes:

I haven't fallen asleep but have forgotten about auctions I really wanted to win.
Be careful out there Graham, there's quite a lot of 'fake' stuff with bikes.
What I mean actually is cannibalised.

hawk cycles near where i live you can get a brand new bike for under £80, 21 gears and it looks ok but you get what you pay for,
Me and ems has bikes, infact Ems bike is a very good make and lots of money if you brought it properly:yikes:, no what i mean:xxgrinning--00xx3:, anyway i have been thinking about changing both of then for these fold away bikes so they could fit in the car easy but the cost is stupid i think, so for now we will stay with what we have

Good advice Peter. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
Fortunately I've previously owned the identical model, so I know what to look out for. Very distinctive.

I have my step-daughter's fold-up bike in the garage, and the ex used to have one. They're ridiculously heavy though.
This bike model I'm bidding on costs £1100 for a new one. The one I missed went for £160 ! :NoNo:
I paid £400 for my last one and sold it for £500 (same type).
