Acting on intelligence, officers visited the Indian Lounge at Swinegate on Bank Holiday Monday 6 May with the assistance of officers from North Yorkshire Police.

"The business was closed after the visit, as there were no staff left to run it ,and will be served with a civil penalty notice for employing the illegal workers"

I am averse to both food poisoning AND spending more than £2 on a meal. :icon_rolleyes:

Should have deported the whole bloody lot of them. :mad:

I note also that there was no mention of the 4,000 Cockroaches that had to be given temporary acommodation by the RSPCA.

I'm averse to Bangladeshi and Pakistani food which is what so called "Indian" restaurants dish up

Correct along with the usual Food Hygiene concerns there's a breach of the Trade Descriptions Act
