Hi guys.We put a visa application in a few weeks ago and I'm praying my wife will get the visa to come to Guernsey.

The question I have is....If my wife does get the spouse visa and she comes to stay here, will we be able to go on holiday abroad for a couple of weeks without it affecting the visa extension date further on down the line in 30 months?Do they allow or give concession for holidays in the first 30 months and if so how many days?

Many Thanks

It'll be fine for holiday no problem.
Of course she'll need to have visa unless you travel to somewhere where she will be visa free on her Philippine passport. Or you visit a place where she can get a visa on entry.

There's not really any specific constraints for absences leading up to settlement. However most folks keep within 90 days per year just to avoid issues down the line with naturalisation.
If you need more than 90 days in a years and there is good reason there's usually an allowance
