Just a question guys. Does the supporting letter have to be from the landlord or will a letter from the estate agent suffice?

We submitted a letter 'confirming the arrangement' from the letting agent as the actual landlord is an investment company, and we were successful. I wrote the letter with the pertinent info from the UKBA site and she just printed it on their letterhead. Good luck.
