My name is Mark, im 45, but look younger. I don't drink or smoke, so therefore not into the pubs and clubs scene. I regularly work out, i'm in great shape in body and mind. It would be great to meet a pinay for friendship that will blossom into a long term relationship. If there's any pinays interested in knowing more then please don't hesitate to answer my message and leave contact details, if that's possible on here. Oh yeah sorry, Pinay in the uk.

Hello Mark, welcome here. :welcomex:
Good luck in your quest :xxgrinning--00xx3:
The summer season of Philippine Barrio Fiesta's is upon us. Good chance for a great day out and a fantastic opportunity for meeting people.
I can sense romance in the air.
There's a fiesta tomorrow at Rippon. Search the forum for details. Don't let the opportunity slip. It's only a question of priority :icon_rolleyes:

Welcome Mark....we sound very much alike, except that I really do enjoy socialising, singing, dancing etc. :REDancedancer08:
That's probably why all the Filipinas love me so. Very much a part of their culture, so you may just have to up your game mate.

i don't like long distance relationships, i think it's going to be difficult.
I think you are limiting yourself a bit by not wanting to explore further. Also, to go to the Philippines and experience the culture will certainly help your future relationship with a Pinay lady. Many cultural things to learn and accept so you understand what makes your lady happy.
Good luck.

Thanks for your comments steve, i have already been to the Philippines in fact i was in Manila last October. I understand about filipino culture, its just that i don't like long distance internet based relationships. For me the courting process is about physically seeing and talking on a more personal level.

Why is there so many judge mental people on here, coming out with Crass comments when they don't even know the person. I thought the site was supposed to be friendly and helpful, it seems to be a comedy of errors ..lol

LOL what you talking about Arthur?
:joke:, Mark! As was Graham's "tongue in cheek" remark - which (to ME, at any rate) you gave the impression of "taking exception to", with your response to it in #4.
:anerikke: ... hence my reply to the effect that I felt you really needed to "drop your guard" ... "lighten up" a bit, in other words.
:welcomex: here ... and goodluck in your quest. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Your heads gone Pal as Rayna said you used the words "Cool relaxed Pinay" - carry on with the self abuse, you won't go blind
Steve.r
5th June 2013, 01:28
ok, this is going one of two ways:
1, the OP says sorry for being abusive to long standing members and lightens up as Arthur has already said.
2, I keep my finger poised on the big red button.
The choice is yours.
We are a friendly bunch here and maybe some prior reading of different forums would have helped you understand how life is within the forum. We have a diverse membership, vast experiences and we help hundreds of people through their quest to getting their loved ones here to our shores.
Along with the help is a very strong sense of humour that is often needed when times get tough for people. It can be downright funny, gentle joshing or rather sarcastic. If you didn't understand this, then again you need to lighten up.
Your choice.....

Not quite Steve
In all honesty Mark, I probably think you're not suited to a Pinay. Post number 3 although light hearted is also quite true. It was sound advice from someone who if you took the trouble to browse the forum you would realise knows what they're talking about.

As a Filipina, your attitude here would really put off girls being interested in you. You can't even have the sense of humour the guys here in this forum have. Good luck in finding a Filipina who would take chances on you. :anerikke:

Well at least you have been humble and honest about it!:icon_lol:

I think knob jockey is a regional saying because its not used around my way. It's usually sausage jockey, chutney ferret or uphill gardener.

it is difficult but others succeed in building a good relationship, others not...at the end of the day it goes on one's determination to make it work.
