paying vat?????
Summer, theoretically there is a chance on it being taxed.
It will not happen though especially as it is a wedding ring.
Tell him not to worry
How did your visit to the British embassy go?

Hi Summer, welcome to the forum. There should be no problems at all taking a wedding ring to Philippines, I took my wife's engagement ring to the Philippines, just put it in my jacket pocket. The only problem I had was getting the correct size ring, my wife told me to get American size 4, but when we met it was still slightly too large. Good luck for the future!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

I bought mine for 500 pesos in Harrison Plaza.
It does seem to have faded a bit though. :cwm3:

You spent how much :yikes:
I hope the exchange rate was more favourable back then, that's almost 10 British pounds.

Yes Stewart, still pains me to think of all that cash. :NoNo:
I don't wear jewellery, so first it used to live in my wallet, and then it went in the bin.
