Hello :hubbahubba:
I'm just confuse with this visa so I need your help :)

if me and my fiance apply for the visiting to marry visa, can i then apply for the spousal visa once i have returned to the philippines? i have seen somewhere that this is not possible (because he said to obtain said visa you must have declared that you and your intended spouse do not mean to live in the UK.) but we are not sure as to where we intend to live in the future, and using this visa will allow me to experience UK life and help us with our decision. fiancée visa isn't an option yet because he haven't meet the financial requirements.

is this option viable for sponsors who dont currently meet the financial requirements, but who will in the future?

We're choosing this because:
1) my fiancee is just short of the financial requirements and we want to do this while we wait for him to earn more money
2) we are undecided where our future lays, and i want to visit the UK to help make our minds up

TIA

nothing can stop you applying for a marriage visit visa, it's possible that a British citizen can apply for one and get one, but your right in away its not really aimed at British citizens, the fiancee visa would be a better choice or the spouse visa.

yes it is possible to get married and then leave and apply for a spouse visa to come back to the uk

but your problem in getting a marriage visit visa is probably convincing the ECO that you will return before your visa expires and possibly that your in a genuine relationship - thou i don't know your details and I'm not an ECO

good luck with what ever you do thou :xxgrinning--00xx3:
