I am writing this post as to any insight to what makes up a filipino in terms of different racial mixtures there.
I have heard of spanish, malay, chinese, japanese etc but it is fascinating to find out what actually makes the people there so unique.
My wife who is half filipino half korean and are looking into our family trees.
Just a fascinating subject any views guys....

There must be very few people with much Spanish blood in them by now...certainly virtually zero with 'pure' Spanish blood.
I mean the Yanks took over in 1898 didn't they ?

My wife's maternal grandmother was Chinese.
Her paternal grandfather was half Spanish.
