Alan Shearer has had his name ripped away from St James’ Park — hours after his scathing attack on the current Newcastle regime.
The Toon legend used his SunSport column to blast owner Mike Ashley and his appointment of director of football Joe Kinnear.
And today it was announced that the stadium’s iconic Shearer’s Bar will be renamed Nine after his shirt number.
