The Philippines is to deploy female labour officers to the Middle East, an official said Tuesday, amid an enquiry into allegations some of its diplomats in these posts forced distressed Philippine workers there into prostitution.

do you think that would happen at british embassies :cwm25:, there was some stories years ago about a small number fiddling visa's for cash at UKBA

Yes, it has happened at certain British overseas missions, but the culprits were locally employed staff originating in the Indian-subcontinent.
My brother was involved in 'sorting them out'...one of them in particular.

Much as I love the Philippines and its people, the scum do certainly rise to the top there.
This sort of reprehensible behaviour needs punishing severely...no matter what rich and privileged families these diplomatic staff happen to be from. :mad:
