Hi all,

Next month I will be sending my parents visa applications documents & requirements to them (pay slips, statements, proof of address, mortgage docs etc)

I'm quite nervous that if I send the documents it might get lost somewhere & ruin the application.

What is the best way to send the docs?

Most folks use a highly reputable courier service such as DHL (http://parcel.dhl.co.uk/?gclid=CO_eusnDu7gCFfMctAodyV4Amw) or FedEx (http://www.fedex.com/gb/ukservices/) etc
As for me I use DHL as they conveniently have a service centre at my local Staples Store and also my local WH Smith.

You could also review Interparcel (http://www.interparcel.com)
They actually do use well known organisations like DHL or Fedex etc but tend to be significantly cheaper than going direct.
(Just be careful with problems resolution if you decide not to go direct though)

You could check out Transglobal (http://www.transglobal.org.uk/Default.asp) and Worldwide Parcel services (http://www.worldwide-parcelservices.co.uk/parcel-to-asia)

BTW always make copies for yourself of everything you send.
If your really really concerned just get your copies certified as true from the originals. Having documnets certified does not require a solicitor and is really simple.

Take a look here - Certifying a document (https://www.gov.uk/certifying-a-document) for some detailed information

Hope that helps you:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Good luck with the application(s)
If you've followed the hints and tips here in the forum then that's about as much as you can do.
Should be OK IMO
