Singapore Airlines have hopefully started a new craze in the competition for our business on an airline. You can now pay with both cash and air miles. Although they don't currently have any discounts to Manila at the moment, with the cheapest flight being £956, the 16,000 air miles I have would give me a £100 discount :biggrin: ..... They just finished a promotion on the 8th, where the cheapest flight was £685, so I will wait until another offer comes along.

Flying with them in August to Singapore and then Australia and we booked direct, but only 3 sections of the fare gain air miles and then they are calculated at different percentage rates. One section full 100% and the other 2 vary between 10% and 50% from memory.
Can you sell or transfer your air miles?

No. But you can nominate 5 people who can use yours.

They only allow it as an option for Executive Club according to the site, which is not many people :cwm25:

They changed it then - you can buy and use up to 24000 avios points

Doesn't cost anything to join.......as far as I know.
I've been a member for donkeys years. Only Blue now ...sad to say.

BTW not airmiles anymore it's Avios points
