Thank u sir terpe, I just noticed my visa is valid from 27/08/13 and valid until 27/05/16 why they grant it now if its valid not until next month? Is this normal? I also thingking maybe bcoz my intended date of travel I put on my application is sept 1.is it ok to get my cfo sticker now ? Can I fly before sept 1?

Hi mendoza82 first of all may I congratulate you on the sucessful visa application.

Secondly with answer to your question, yes its quite normal to date your visa in advance especially as you put your intended date of travel at that time.

Of course you can fly out earlier than Sep 1 but not earlier than the visa valid from date so in your case the earliest you could leave would be 27 August but in the meantime this gives you plenty of time to get your CFO done, that can now be issued as your now in receipt of your visa.

You must have entered a travel date after 27/08/13
Visa's may have a validity up to 3 months advance, it all depends when you apply and the intended travel date.
There's no problem.

Your visa is not valid until 27/08/13 means you cannot travel until that date.
Importantly you will not be able to get your CFO sticker until your visa becomes valid. (ie 27/08/13 earliest)
