donating hair for charity

hi guys!

I need some info regarding on how to donate my hair to charity. Got a very very long hair and decided to cut it short and I'm willing to give it to charity.. can someone please help me on how to do it?

Donating your hair

Your hair needs to be at least 6 inches long to be used in wig making. The hair must be clean and in a pony tail when it is cut.

They will explain to you about having your hair cut and will pay you for it. The fees are £3 per ounce if your hair is 10 – 12 inches long and £5 per ounce if it is more than 12 inches long. They have asked us to point out though, that no one is going to get rich by selling their hair.
