Can I ask for your help again?

As I understand matters the fiancee visa to enter the uk for marriage is a six months visa.

We have a wedding planned for late May next year and plan to apply for the fiancee visa in December.

On the basis, fingers and everything else crossed, that the visa is granted it would cover from January to the end of June.

If entry to the uk was in March, am I right in thinking that the entry officer would therefore allow entry for 3 months.

Thanks again.

all i can add to this is what we did was to get the fiance visa sorted out and from the date we asked that to start from we knew we had 6 months before the date ran out, and if it runs out before you get married you have to start all over again and they might be questions asked WHY DID YOU NOT GET MARRIED, but from landing in england we was married within a few months

you have to be married and apply for FLR(M) before the expiry date on the visa.

Thanks guys, we are steadily gathering all the info together for the visa application and every so often there is a sudden crisis of thought.

It is so wonderful having helpful people and being able to turn to you all in moments of crisis!

I'll keep you all updated, hopefully by this time next year we will be married and FLR granted.
