heylows all:) apologies that i hadnt had a chance to thank u all for yer replies,i found the forum really very informative and helpful...:)
now,am wonderin if anyone could help me on this...does anyone knows where we could buy cheap tickets & all for him to fly here in the philippines...or is it possible,perhaps an option that id buy the tickets here (he would provide the money for payment;))coz its much cheaper + its modern times now,lol...i mean e-ticketing....:)......oh && if he stays for like 21 days (21 day no visa policy) and decides he wants to stay further what do we do so he could obtain a visa.....where do we go and what are the steps in gettin one...tnx all:)

HI. there are many low cost airlines, very easy to use here in UK. Dial-a-flight is good and easy because they will search all airlines
You can apply for a longer stay by a visit to embassy and wait in line heheh.
Very difficult to travel at Christmas because all flights are full.

About the airticket it is cheaper if he will purchase it in the UK through dialaflight.com. My husband booked his ticket through this website everytime he visited Phil. If your fiance wants to stay here for more than 21 days it is easy to extend his visa. Just go to the immigration office in your town but don't forget to go there one week before he lapse his 21 days stay. You have to pay 2,520 pesos and he can extend his stay here for 2 months.

hello Marikistin,as far as i knw HONGKONG OASIS is the cheapest airlines.all u have to do is visit on there website u can easily buy tiket all u have to do is print on it from ur email,then from HK to phil u can use CEBU Pacific same as HK OASIS as well u have to buy on internet and print on iT.My husband and I always use that airlines everytime we visit in phil.About the visa extension u have to visit imigration office in ur city.

the local immigration office here in Manila is the British Embassy in Manila,if ur bf is from UK..

i got my dialaflight christmas flight to cebu for £808 . . .. but i booked that 2 months ago . . .
i think mark will know the more current prices

If u r in Manila, ur bf can have his visa extension in any BI office. The rate was P2,020 for the first extension last year.

I am not from Manila but I can tell you where the Immigration office. Here's the complete address.

When you go there, take a cab and tell the driver you wanted to go immigration. They will take u there.
