Hi there everyone, been living in Ireland with my filipino wife since the 7th July, began employment on the 15th July and will be applying for the UK family permit to return to the UK with my wife.. does anyone know how many weeks you must be exercising your "treaty rights" in another EU member state before returning on the UK family permit?? I've heard 10 weeks, 12 weeks and also 6 months.. :Erm:

there is no minimum amount of time, but you need to convince UKBA that you've been in employment so many people wait a few months or more to maximize their chances of a successful application
