Hello everyone  I been told by one of the recruitment agency here in Glasgow that I will need a work permit before I can search for job? I already have my national insurance but no idea about work permit. The lady who is suppose to interview me on phone said I should get a working visa? I cant believed hearing it after a long days of waiting to get my spouse visa she is suggesting a change to working visa is the only way to get a job here in the UK? Anyone help please :icon_sorry:

Sorry to say this but what a load of B******s this lady certainly does not know how to do her job.
On a spouse visa you have full entitlement to work, I would suggest speaking to her superior and maybe she should get herself updated on simple Immigration issues or be re-trained to do her job properly doh...some people...:doh:BlacklistThatsbull:

:iagree: It would appear that the lady is a bit confused. You have a spouse visa and a National Insurance number which entitles you to work :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Maybe she is shortsighted and thinks your a european.:omg:. I dont know much about it but from my understanding you just need your national insurance number.

I thought so too. I think she's just jerking me around like a beef. or maybe its just her not so polite way of turning down my application. I felt discriminated when she told me that it is national insurance I have and not a British passport. :bigcry::bigcry::bigcry:
