chips and curry sauce as dips. My bf and I were in Taiwan last year and he never eats chinese food there but in England he does.

I would not in the least be surprised if your local jobsworth from the health would dye it blue and condemn it as unfit for human consumption...:D

Having been the victim of salmonella in the past, I see Balut as a potential risk.:NoNo:

Shops in Earls court have had balut and even our local store in the past. But i know our local store has to be ever so careful with the health and safety peeps from the council. Due to some of the products sold baluck a luck and all that being a bit odd to most.

Well From reading this any Englishman going to the Philippines is in for a treat. They even have a Philippine version of bloody pudding, but served as a soup. go to the market and you can get all those delicious cuts you crave, fryers, tripe, feet, brains, tongues ,and ears...:xxgrinning--00xx3::D
