Every year we impose civil penalties on hundreds of companies which fail to carry out legally-required checks on their staff.

Every year we impose civil penalties on hundreds of companies which then fail to pay

if it's their second offense 6 months inside should do the trick, or even better, get them to pick litter up 8 hrs a day for 6 months :xxgrinning--00xx3:

There might be a new angle here - I'm talking to the UKBA, Local Police & Local Authority cc'd to Mrs May about having an ethnic restaurants licence "reviewed" - it has had illegals caught on two raids. It could result in the place being shut down due to "criminal activity". Seemingly most of the time like collecting the fines the UKBA/Police can't be arsed to pursue this option.

........................ :yeahthat:; hmm ...

*Pembroke Tandoori, on Main Street,

Later at *Rajah Tamarind Spice, on Pembroke Street, Pembroke Dock,

The businesses have each been served with a civil penalty notice for employing the illegal workers. If the employers are unable to provide evidence that legally-required pre employment checks were carried out, a fine of up to £10,000 per worker will be imposed.

... *they're gonna be "stony broke" once they've forked out their appropriate fines :icon_rolleyes: - and/or, shut down altogether :signs136:- if Ded's  is implemented!
