I am just filling in my FLR(M) form and suddenly realized if im doing the right thing/answer. Since i am going to submit this form after my wedding i am automatically a MRS...so, my question is do i have to use my husbands surname or i still have to use my maiden since this is what is in my travel documents/passport.

Its your choice, you can change it after you got your BRP or u can change it before you apply

In connection with the FLR form:-
Q. 1.4 Your full name as in your passport or travel document
This is the name under which the visa and BRP will be issued.
If you change the name on your passport, you must also update the BRP
You can still include your married name on the FLR.
You can use your married or that on your passport & BRP for everything else you wish. The marriage certificate is the key in the audit trail.
My best advice is to keep your ID on all documentation as simple as possible.
The UK is very relaxed about the names you use.
Many folks don't bother to change their passport name until time for renewal.
It's up to you.

In the form, you need to put in the name written in your passport. But you can also put in your married name in the "Other names you are known or have been known by", which is in #1.7 of the form. That's what I did and I haven't had any problems with it. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
And then if you wish to change your passport to your married name, you can do it after you have your FLR(M). But like what Terpe said, if you change your passport, you MUST change your BRP card (it will be given when your FLR(M) is approved) because they need to match.
