Post pics of cars past or present which in your opinion you find ugly to look at.
First pick for me is this ghastly looking specimen otherwise known as the Citroen Dolly.

Hmm...I didn't mind the Princess so much...lovely comfy cars too.
Now of course the Morris Marina...booted model. What a plain Jane !
BL's half-hearted attempt at the fleet market, but with too small a budget...not to mention that pillock union leader of theirs, sabotaging the company. :NoNo:

I didn't mind the Marina lookswise. Of course I was too young to drive one.
Remember my old man borrowing one of these to take us on holiday. Big enough but ugly. Another Austin.

They are all beautiful in their own way!
The Renault 4 is a head turner :cwm3:

When i was younger my mum used to own a black Morris minor. At the time i used to dread her coming to pick me up, as i thought it was ugly. Of course she knew this and blasted the very loud horn, just to add to my embarrassment :NoNo: I now realize it was a great looking car and would love to own one.

Of course....made in Idle, Bradford. (Hence one of their other models...the 'Bradford' van. :) ).

I always thought they were great-looking little car, very successful in motor sport, with an advanced alloy engine in the back.
People tended to fall into the Mini camp or the Imp camp though. I was a Mini man myself.

Made by Aston-Martin (who bought out the Lagonda car company years ago), using the Aston sports car engine from the same era.

The Bradford van was one of the first vehicles I ever learned to drive. Also do you remember the triumph TR 1 Graham?:xxgrinning--00xx3:

24th September 2013, 23:11
I do Michael. Also the angular Triumph Mayflower and the big Triumph Vanguard which used the same engine as the TR sports cars of the 50s.
My brother and I were keen car spotters from being little kids out in Malaya...where the vehicles were mostly British imports back then, including our own brand new Austin A30. Naturally they also drove on the left, as they did across in Singapore.
