Hi there,

It never rains but it pours, last month we where all set for my wfie and daughter to apply for the spousal visa, so they can join me in the UK, however, her mother died
So we decided to put it back a month, we are all ready to apply at the end of this month, and now my daughter has been bitten by a mozzy and has Dengue fever.

What a life - maybe the good lord is trying to tell me something :cwm23::bigcry::omg:

Sorry to hear of that Shamrock. I have sponsored a wee boy in Masbate for a few years, and he was very ill with Dengue ( so badly affected due to being so malnourished I was told).
Anyway, this made my mind up to visit the Philippines, and meet Andrew
and his family after years of only writing letters. It was fantastic to meet them and be able to help a bit.
I couldn't visit the Barangay as the charity had a 'run in' with the NPA at the time, but that's a long story.
What I want to say is that on my 2nd day in the Philippines I met Lyn and
we've been very happily married for over a year now, and we will be blessed by a Son in November!
So, thanks to Kimmi for what you wrote about God's plans for us and
having faith. This is so relevant to our lives. Hope I can keep on trusting God as he knows best. Also his plans work best when I don't interfere with them too much! Heehee.
