My wife also like TGI Friday's, especially the steaks :yikes:
Last time we went the service was awful and steak was hyperpriced. Seems she has a short memory she's always suggesting we go back......................like you Steve I develop deafness and forgetfulness......
A BigMac meal seems like a good idea for a treat :xxgrinning--00xx3:
Don't mention KFC. I worked there as a cook in a previous life and know everything :xxparty-smiley-004:

When we lived in Japan my favourite was the 99 Yen shop (about 50p at that time)
Got some really great stuff there. Still using to this day.
I had an idea such a store would be a good business in UK...........too late :doh

yes sometimes its crap sold in these shops but it amazes me when people spend pounds on some stuff when like we all say you can get it cheaper from these sort of shops, the busiest shop there is in derby is B&M you cannot get in the car park and thats every day, i hate the shop and i never go in but its always full

We have a B&M shop here in Northampton. Not really a poundshop. You really need to know your prices in there so many items cheaper in the high-street supermarket.
Last week I bought a sea-fishing rod from B&M complete with reel and line for £9.99
Previously they were selling them at £19.99
Nice bargain. I can easily visualise me casting out in the Philippines to bring home a beautiful shimmering fresh fish for dinner. :hubbahubba:
Money back on first big catch :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Thats one of the main reasons I divorced my first wife ,she was a staff nurse in kettering and could,nt turn down more work it got to the stage where she was working nearly 7 days a week despite having 3 small kids at home .we did,nt need the money but she prefered to be at work .

where abouts are you going to live ?
We have a number of houses to choose from all except 1 are ocean side.
We also have a place in Marikina City, Manila
Means we're lucky enough to be able to move around and spend some time in different locations.
We also have a plan to spend a couple of months each summer in Japan just sofa-surfing with good friends.
The one place we don't yet have a property is the one place where we will base ourselves.
Bohol.
But we're working on that. Bohol is the birthplace of my wife's mother so we have plenty of family to accommodate us and help us find a nice place to hide away.
:xxgrinning--00xx3:
Well.....that's the plan anyway.........
Once I get my permanent residents visa we'll most likely sell the house in Marikina.

Always tricky when there's a young family involved.
For us it works OK.
I'm retired so no fixed schedule to work around and am also available for together-times.
Just makes planning ahead for holidays etc a bit difficult.

Just been to Wetherspoons for their Chicken Club night (Wednesday) - a superbly cooked bargain at £6.59 inc a drink. They'll be giving Mr Nando a run for his money.
