I'll never forget that I was at the Radisson Hotel Manc Airport of all places I'd flown up from London and got in there just in time to watch the 2nd half of extra time & the penalties.

Came out and there's bloody fireworks going off all over the place, at least my taxi driver was a City fan so we commiserated together. Booked him again to take me back to the airport in the morning where my flight to the states was delayed by all the incoming flights coming back from Moscow.

I supped my champers and gave the fingers to some of the fans stood by the peri fence as my plane taxied by :biggrin:
