Be patient, sooner or later, somebody will ask to make friends from the site.

Also it would be useful if you go to the catholic Church, in your area, on mass day, so that you can meet filipinos attending.

A little crazy, maybe disfunctional at times, some other times make fun of each other, but we are all friends.
And if you feel sad, in need of cheering up, need some guidance.... A shoulder to cry on, etc...
