Hello!
I am Ira, a postgraduate student at the University of Nottingham. I arrived in the UK in September, and I still have not found a fellow Filipino in the area! So I decided to see if there are indeed fellow Pinoys in the area through this forum.
Cheers!
Ira

Hello Ira, welcome to the forum :welcomex:
I'm sure we have members from Nottingham.
Try to google.....also try this link about Nottingham Filipino Community (http://nottinghamfilipinocommunity.yolasite.com/)
Not sure if it's still active....quite a few organisations come and go.

Welcome to the forum, Ira. :Hellooo: I was also a post graduate (mature) student at Nottingham Trent university but graduated in 2004. My sister-in-law has several Filipina friends living in Nottingham, there is quite a large community there. First place to check for your fellow Filipinos/ Filipina is the local hospital :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Hi.. My wife and I live in Nottingham. A good place to start is the A&J Karindera, a shop in the Victoria Centre - this is located in the market there... also if you are interested there is a Nottingham Filipino Community fund raising event at the Trinity School, in Beechdale Road, Aspley on the November 23, from 10am till 4pm where I am sure you will meet members of the local community while supporting a very worthwhile cause
Hope this helps....
