This morning I got the phone call from my wife to say that her passport had arrived with the visa :icon_win: but to my surprise she then said it is a mistake because she has not had an interview and we only applied for it on the 13 august and they told us it could be three to four months wait, she will call the embassy on Monday to arrange an interview for herself "bo ang" its took me all day to convince her that its OK. :Brick:

Quite funny, she don't have any idea that she could be issued a visa without being interviewed. Well, anyways, MY CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH OF YOU. Well done, it's another success.

My filipina girlfriend lived here in UK illegally for over 10 years. Always hiding from place to place.
We met 5 years ago. We saw an immigration lawyer on the Legal TV channel.
We phoned him LIVE on air. We met him. He put in a fantastic petition letter.
She had to go voluntarily back to Philippines, I went in June we got married in July. August 10th she submitted all the paperwork in UK Embassy in Manila.
yesterday Sept 27th in the philippines she received a full spouse settlement VISA in the MAIL! she arrives back in UK (legally at last) in 3 weeks time!
Thank you LORD!
No need for interview!!!!
It took 6 weeks. No need for interview! It normally takes up to 3 months.
Despite her illegal past in UK she got it!
All the best.

For the 5 million pounds (ok joking but knowing this goverment after april its likely to get nearer this amount) it would be nice of the British goverment to put in a letter welcoming you to the Country and some basic information i.e the next step as it is at present but to keep checking on the UKvisas website in case it changes.
A photocopied letter should cost them less than a penny but never mind, im sure the penny is better going towards sending our men and women in the army to war or mps pension funds.

She had to go voluntarily back to Philippines
it's the only way for an overstayer or an illlegal immigrant. that is for them to leave ASP, avoiding the London airports, where they risk getting their passports marked, and apply for a spouse visa back in thier home country :xxgrinning--00xx3:
