Hello, its me again seeking for advice. I just want to know if I apply online (for spouse visa) and fill out the application form, do I have to do the application in one sitting? Or I can log in and out until its complete? I dont have any idea coz I haven't requested the form online yet. Thank you!

Hi Alexis,

The visa application and payment must be made online.

Click these links to find out how it's all done:-

New Visa Application - Before you start (http://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/ApplyNow.aspx)

Visa4UK - our online system for visa applications (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/countries/online/?langname=null)

Be sure to follow all links within the above webpages.

If you want to see the questions on the downloaded forms the follow this link to the UKBA webpage called Applying from outside the UK (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/partners-families/citizens-settled/spouse-cp/apply-outside-uk/)

You'll find all the forms and guides available on the right-hand side.
In principle you'll need:-

VAF4A - Application form
VAF4A - Financial Requirement form

This is completed online.

Plus a paper hard copy and fully completed VAF4A - Financial Requirement form

@TERPE My husband was self employed, he was painter/decorator he used to sub-contracting to one company. But he is an employed now he just started this week to a different company. But the documents we will going to submit are from self employed, from October 2012-October 2013 payslips & bank statements. Will it affect my visa application?
