Passport renewal Philippine Embassy

Just wondering how long before a Philippine passport runs out can it be renewed eg: my wifes passport is valid till October 2014 could she renew it in January so 9 months before as we are travelling to the Phils in April so it gives plenty of time to come back.

I would imagine it's the same as here, Mark....the passport needs to be valid for a min of 6 months on returning to UK so, going by that, you can renew whenever you like. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
