Fiance visa application form

Hi guys,

My fiance is currently filling out the online fiance visa application form and one question asks what is your sponsors relationship to you? there is a drop down list to choose from and it contains almost every option except fiance/partner! (please see attached)

I am unsure if we have chosen the right form at the beginning, we chose the purpose of coming to the UK as marriage so I dont understand why fiance is not an option in the sponsor drop down list! Should we go with other relation? Also it asks what date did your sponsor enter the UK? to which a date needs to be entered!

If anyone can help with this I would be very grateful!

We have hit the same problem, we have "other relative" just now, but it does not seem right!

Struggling with the online form, some of the questions written down the left hand side in one section are different to those in purple which have the pre-populated answers!

In the spouse/partner section the questions jump from "your" to" their" and though I am used to form filling, I am not sure whether it is information about me or my fiancé, keep on having doubts!

I know this is a new system for applications, any help or guidance would be much welcome.

We suppose to submit our application last night, but we ended up with confusion because it's just not right about the SPONSOR DETAILS section, especially the right side of the column is not related to what's being asked in the form, but the rest is okay though.

The part which we are being asked about ( When did they arrive in the UK? ) why would they ask such thing that the sponsor is a British Citizen. Also ( What is their relationship to you? ) just confused!

Anyway, I called them this afternoon as we wanted to start our application soon so I got an answers for you and to anyone who wants answer:

When did they arrive in the UK? ( The call center agent said to write the Birhtdate of the sponsor ).
What is their relationship to you? ( She said to write FRIEND ) To add more, we can write at the Additional Information about our doubts like we put friend since there is no Fiance/ Fiancee.

I thought the new form is just for the applicants from the uk?

Hi Rani, It's the fiance of Drew hehe.

It's more on the applicants ( Me ) and just a few from the sponsor if I remember correctly. Very confusing, even after gave them a call, I still have doubts. But I asked if I'm in the right form, the call center agent said, YES!

We will apply tonight after Drew's work

We have now submitted our online application and paid for the privilege :omg:

Does anybody know when my fiance has to present our documents to the VFS? We thought it would tell us in the confirmation email but it doesn't say anything about presenting our documents, is it just a case of whenever possible?

As far as I know you must book an appointment...........

Hopefully those that have done it will advise............but an appointment MUST be made

We finally found the booking page and booked an appointment, the earliest appointment available is the 9th December! Must be busy!!

Good day there, we are planning to apply for a fiancee visa route when i come back home with my daughter in the Philippines, we are trying to gather some informative helpful advices from here, i am bit confused about the fiancee application form is there a new form for fiancee visa? Can i have the link please? so i will share it to my fiance when he gets home from work. I am currently here in England with my daughter as a visit visa.
