I'm sure this is what they are doing, but labour will throw some dead Tory cats in the next 18 months...

"Let us suppose you are losing an argument," Boris Johnson wrote earlier this year.

Advice To The Prime Minister

Alas ... the tired old Tories ... :anerikke:...
It seems they're now dead beat :NEW5:
With a nation full of dismal stories
From old folk :oldlady::olddude::oldlady: without heat. :freezin:

Yet back before the last Election,
With the nation on its knees :please:
Dave pledged to move in the right direction
And rout out Labour's sleaze.

But, in spite of talking tough :23_116_6[1]:
New Labour ... his aim to unseat
All the votes cast - were barely enough
Resulting in near a dead heat! :bigcry:

Far from being the voters' choice
With th' exception of p'raps th' elite, :icon_rolleyes:
'twas most unlikely Cammie's voice
Would appeal to the man in the street.

Lib Dems ... still were middle ground,
Redundant since Lloyd George! :cwm24:
Cameron then went off to sound
out, Clegg :blahblah::blahblah: - an alliance to forge. :grouphug:

And thus ere long, :yeahthat: came to pass,
With *Clegg as Number Two,
Though Dave thinks *he's such an ass :butthead:
There ain't a lot he can do! :Brick:

So :poke: ... time to take the nettle, Dave
And grasp it with both hands,
If your face you mean to save,
Don't pander to Clegg's demands. :NoNo:

Excellent Arthur, :xxgrinning--00xx3:

You missed your true calling Arthur. lol. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Thanks chaps. Strangely, I once answered an ad for a job as a 'Verse Writer' with Messrs Valentine's of Dundee, the well~known Greetings Card manufacturers ... then withdrew my application at the interview, for fear I'd eventually "dry up"! :cwm24:
