Thanks Les - I think cNet might be in the pay of Google on other sites it gets fairly favourable write ups and on benchmark tests it seems to stack up fairly well - £80 cheaper and with removable storage. I'm still thinking about it, it'll mainly be used by the Mrs - Phil TV, You Tube, Farcebook, browsing etc

It depends what you want it for. I just bought http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141028672968?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 for my dad, which is good enough for what he needs it for, but checking the speed it runs similar to a Galaxy S3.

The best tablets at the moment for hi specs are the Tesco Hudl and Nexus 2.

That looks good Joe but I think it might be a 2012 model upgraded to Andriod 4.4 I think the 2013 versions have a Snapdragon Processor whereas 2012 is Nvidia.

I've ordered a Tesco Hudl but there's a glitch on their system and it appears stuck in the delivery couriers warehouse so I'm in a bit of a stand off with Tesco at present

Had a shock today buying one of those Hudl's..With all my discounts it set me back £34 ....I'm not too concerned now giving it to my boys :xxgrinning--00xx3:
