JOHN Morgan, a Conservative councillor on the Vale of White Horse District Council, has been convicted today of stealing £154,000 from a 91-year-old woman.

... according to Joe's link he told the jury he'd been "following the :oldlady:'s wishes" in withdrawing money from her account!

So ... how come the link doesn't elaborate? :Erm:

... after clicking on that link, I was flabbergasted :yikes: to discover the striking resemblance between the accused and an old friend of mine called Frank (now long deceased)!

i wonder if the old lady had dementia:Erm:, its ok saying shes gave permission but if she doesn't understand or recall what went on, then she is open to abuse :NoNo:

according to age concern in many cases its middle aged women who are family or a family friend who abuse elderly people financially. :NoNo:
