I start up my computer & open my email.

must be something wrong :cwm3:

I send a test message to my gmail account - hmm :Erm: that works. I send it back.. nothing :Erm::Erm:

maybe mailserver is locked up :CompBuster: give it a reboot..

send-receive.. nothing

maybe dns is not working.. login its ok..

maybe nameserver registration is lost :Erm: log into internic - nope thats ok.

maybe MX record is missing from dns server :Erm: check that .. no its ok.

maybe smtp listener has stopped, :Cuckoo: telnets fine... :cwm34:

I wonder when I got my last email :Erm: click 'sort by received'.. :Help1:

you don't work for BT do you badboyako ? , was it you i was speaking to in their 'tech support' dept, telling them that our router at work was :censored:, and after 3 hours on the phone, they agreed it was, and after 2 days of calling, now they would send a replacement :doh
