An internal investigation into the behaviour of the Home Office is being conducted after it admitted publishing the details of thousands of people going through the immigration system.

it would appear to be a clear breach of the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and the HO could face a £500,000 fine, hardly nothing :cwm25:

Easy as it so over the top as is Health and safety and Risk assesment
Did not have it years ago and all of the above mentioned things push common sense to the limit.

years ago data wasn't stored digitally like it is today, hard disks that hold terabytes, email and 64gb usb devices can hold alot of personal data.
