further to threads elsewhere--i thought i'd discuss our future plans--and invite comments.

we plan to apply for a fiancee visa as soon as my fiancee's annulment is granted. ( she is divorced in the UK )
then get married--apply for FLR so she can resume her career here.

i'm renting at the moment--but we intend to buy a place once she has settled in a job. she has a bank a/c in the UK--& i'm on it now too. the bank official said she would be able to apply for a mortgage once she had a job.

so--all being well we should be married--and in our own place--within a reasonable amount of time.

now-=-heres the rub.---all the above will take place in the 5 year route to settlement. so--what if i pop my clogs in that time--could she face being sent back to the phils?
