Thank you Terpe. I feel like dragging the days as my other half promise a trip to New York once I get the British passport 362 days more to go. At the moment i will just enjoy the ride and see whats 2014 has to offer.

Thanks Michael. Actually, I was being cheeky as I lodged my application few days before they change the rules 30 October.

When did you first arrive into UK?

Late June 2011 on a Fiance Visa. When can I apply for citizenship? My passport expires November 2014. Should I renew my Philippine passport and apply for Citizenship or apply for Citizenship with an expired passport?

The major requirement as a spouse is that you have been living in UK for 3 years and have ILR at the time you apply.

In principle you would be eligible to apply for citizenship under current rules June 2014 :Jump:

May I suggest you review the other requirements ( especially concerned absences from UK etc)

This could be a very special year.

Yes, the time spent here as Fiancee Visa holder Does Count towards the 3 years residency.

You get me so excited Terpe.
I thought Citizenship will be a year after ILR.
I was away for a 3 week holiday to the Philippines since my arrival. Would that be ok?
On the other hand, I didn't took English test in my ILR application. Should I take the test for the Citizenship?
