Hello. I am ready to apply spouse visa in February if all goes well on my sputum test. I got all the requirements in my hands but my hubby's employment contract and letter doesn't have the manager's signature but the contact numbers are there. Will it be a problem? Do we still need to get a solicitor to certify his contract & letter? Does the embassy call the sponsor's company for checking?
Thanks in advance.

hi there Alexis,
I would not think it would be a problem, and as you say you have all the contacts numbers there just in case they would like to get in touch with the company, i have never heard of them contacting the company, but you never know, i would not waste my money on a solicitor just for him to certify the letters, just double check all the papers again to make sure you have everything, good luck

Hi Lay. I didn't know scan copy is acceptable? I thought I'll need to send the original copy?

Be prepared to accept responsiblity for your actions.
Maybe OK.......Maybe not.....depends on how the ECO feels about your application as a whole.
Strictly speaking UKBA require Original Copies unless otherwise stated.
Sometimes scanned accepted sometimes not

I will submit the original documents just to be on the safe side. One more thing, do i need to provide a letter from me or my hubby's support letter will do? ?

When I submitted my application, I also provided a letter myself. It's not really a requirement but it might be helpful. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
