so--when it drops to 7%--up go interest rates
which means up goes your mortgage if your neighbour gets a job
nonsense--of course--just like these numbers. just means more have retired or gone on the sick.

Bit selfish of people bemoaning their mortgage rate going up after years of virtually no interest at the expense of people gaining employment.

So economies on the up, we have have of the strongest recovery rates in the world, pound against peso is up 25% in the last year, house prices are up nearly 10% and people are complaining that their interest rates on their mortgages may go up :Erm:

I doubt the BoE will increase interest rates for quite some time whatever the growth rate given the stats on full time employment, youth unemployment and the current relative wage levels.
