Hi

Can anyone give me some advice please. My girlfriend returns to the Philippines soon and has more than her allowance of 20kg for her flight baggage. She would like to send her excess baggage (about 20kg) by freight.

If anyone knows of a freight company that is cheap and reliable please can you let me know of their contact details.

Thanks, and best wishes, Geoff

Easy solution:
Bag one I take it contains all her clothes? See wears the lot when boarding the plane, she'll be no heavier than the average English bird. Then the second bag is only one :)

Singapore Airlines are quite flkexible on weight, you can get away with the extra 5 to 8 kgs.:xxgrinning--00xx3:

But Qatar have no soul whatsoever in that department, unless you happen to speak their lingo.:NoNo:
I may last year it cost me a fortune just for 7 extra kgs.:NoNo:

But in february this year, flying with SIA, on the way to get married, my case weighed at 32 kgs, I was asked to take at least 2 kgs out and put them in the hand baggage...

Problem solved.:xxgrinning--00xx3:

So if you see a Lidl carrier bag around Cebu... Blown around by the wind.

It is mine...:icon_lol:

Vacuum pack everything & put it as hand luggage!
