I wonder if I could ask anyone if they can tell me what they understood by the following questions, when they were completing their own applications?


1.19 have you lived with your sponsor in a relationship akin to marriage if not give reasons why?

A bit confused by this, since we are only engaged at this stage, should I just answer no?

1.25 do you and your sponsor have any shared financial responsibilities?

We don't have any apart from financial support, could this mean shared bank accounts or property etc? We are not at that stage yet since we are just planning marriage.

1.19. If you haven't lived together, then answer NO.
1.25. The question is financial responsibilities together, i.e. house bills and such. If you don't share things like that for the both of you then answer NO.

its all seems very hard when you fill the forms and we all need that reassurance from others to say you have done it right, just remember its always best to ask if you are unsure

Yes, I did avail the VIP appointment when I submitted my application and documents at VFS. I can advise you to avail it too because the staff will check if all the needed documents are provided and are very helpful in case your fiancee miss something out.
