Already selling the furniture and anything else not tied down, to finance the next trip. lol
I won't be leaving it as long this time...bearing in mind that my son has now left home, whereas before I still had parental responsibilities and a teenager in the house during any absences. :cwm25:
Yes, she's a gorgeous young lady, with a lovely (and tolerant :icon_lol:) personality.
Doesn't wear a speck of makeup either, as she's allergic to it.

I'm sure she is Graham
I used to think the same about my first filipina wife. It turned out she was having holidays with other foreigners. It explained why she used to go AWOL every now and then
Still, it kept her out of mischief :Erm:

I was just joking Mark. Even cynical old Gra feels secure with this one.
She's 100% genuine, sweet and adorable...just her taste in men that is questionable. :icon_lol:

The pain of living every day without your other half is very unexplainable. Same as here, I am missing my fiance and there is always a night when I just suddenly miss him, cry and be with him on the spot. We are always thinking about the sacrifices that we are doing for our long-term happiness so we can cope with loneliness.

Being apart is never easy, and no-one who hasn't been there.............hasn't experienced their loved one being literally on the other side of the world, cannot understand

Not as cheap as it once was!
For a few days we stayed at a rather nice hotel in Malate, but for our meals went down the street to the local friendly little canteen.
Breakfast...50 pesos, plus coffee...10 pesos. (Exactly the same coffee priced at 60 pesos a cup at the hotel).

Sounds like you got a bargain at the café. Mind you - that wouldn't be the ubiquitous instant Nescafe sachets with powdered milk, would it?
grahamw48
10th February 2014, 22:52
Yes, exactly the same as at the hotel. :icon_lol:
I'm fine with it, but next time I'll take my travel kettle so I can get one before leaving the room, made to suit my taste.
