Thanks Ded, I appreciated your recommendation but didn't make it to Crafty's Bar !

It was Chinese New Year during our visit, but Mount Luho, Puka Beach, and the north end of White Beach were peaceful. Enjoyed the swimming and snorkelling :smile:.

Thanks Steve, having been to Bohol three times I was curious to try Boracay :smile:

I would be happy to go back again to Boracay, especially in our winter months, but I understand why people have mixed feelings about it.

Nice photo's Alan thanks for sharing...I love the special sunsets from the beach in Boracay and have taken so many photos myself.

Despite the increased commercialism and crowds it's always a lovely place to visit for us.
What were your lasting impressions of Boracay Alan?

Elsewhere was certainly busy, not “ typical “ of the Philippines, and I can understand why some would not like that, although we didn't find eating out too expensive :-

Thanks for sharing the pics - certainly brings back really happy memories!
We are heading to the Phils in May and I wanted to try somewhere different so heading to El Nido for a beach break, but Rina is still keen on a trip to Boracay, Tagaytay, Iloilo and Kuala Lumpur in 12 days! I dont think we will be relaxing too much..:biggrin:
