I can't understand or it's hard for me to understand that people can tell someone that they know you, even though just they know you in forum or chats you once in awhile. Hard for me to grasp but, it seems and it really sounds that they know u personally were in fact they don't have idea at all what kind of person are u in reality. I dont want to elaborate more but it is very annoying. :NoNo: :NoNo:

kimmi

well I guess Char it only means they look after u..or there's something special in u and if they tell to other people that u are close they will get something to other people..

Just dont get affected with them..

Is this simply the difference between "knowing you" = acquainted with you and "knowing you" = understanding you?

I think it is quite reasonable to say you "know" someone if you have had a few exchanges on a forum or internet. It simply means you know who they are, they know who you are, and need not mean anything more than that.

If, however, someone is implying that they understand you, when they clearly don't, it is another matter.

Hmmm, ate char wazzup?!! not in a good mood eh. I don't know who you referring to, that you got annoyed with.. could be me? LOL

Well im afraid plenty of them are just around especially in the forums. I think I called them indirect friends. Or an online communities where members can established relationship. We chatted with them, reading their stories, sharing ideas and we response to their problem, although its not in person but just telling advices through the web is like being attached to one another.
We argue with them, and sometimes we don't always agree with them and they think that they know more everything from Aparri to Jolo..lol and surprisingly they think that they even know you..wot?!!!
I know how you feeling ate Char... just tell them to SHUT UP!
hahaha.:ARsurrender:

Thanks Erve, feeling bit alright now. What made me annoyed was somebody told someone that he/she knows me very, very well. How could this person said that he/she knows me that well. I just wonder.:Erm:

Hi Charl....I know how you feel, that's really annoying. Don't mind them. Stay with people who can make you happy and give inspirations....

You can learn more about people on forums than if you actually did know them, as they tend to open up more, and tell you things they'd never mention to the family.

The Win2Win is a 'family' with a lot of folk having been on there for years (sad I know :icon_lol:), and most will publish there problems on the forum rather than ask family/friends. That way they get widespread help, rather than the sympathetic help family give, usually saying only what you want to hear.

A lot of folk have been on here years....and plenty of :action-smiley-081: going on in the background :omg:
