Hello everyone! I just wanted to share that I have just taken and passed the B1 Language required for ILR. It cost me £125 + £8.50 special delivery of the certificate. They have various locations for their exam centers you can chose from. I took mine at Space Centre in Camden. The staff were very helpful and it was a straight forward exam. You get the results right away but you have to wait for the official certificates. Good luck to those taking this test as well :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Hello Terpe, it is ESOL Level 3 or B1 SPEAKING AND LISTENING test required for the ILR application :) I was browsing through the forums and some people were saying about taking a course before taking the exam and it costs a lot! The one I have taken from Trinity college was a straight forward exam which is just right for the budget. I hope that clarifies it for everyone

Thanks Jane! For the B1 test you would need a topic to discuss with the interviewer, I chose a topic I am passionate about so it was not too hard for me because I have a lot to say :)

No because for the ILR requirement that I need I only had to take the B1 SPEAKING AND LISTENING test.
