Have you thought about a secondhand one Steve ?
Just make sure it's an android one, cos my Windows phone is rubbish.

I wonder if they sell used ones on Amazon...with some sort of warranty ? :Erm:
People must be trading them in to their contract providers all the time.
I can't wait to offload this one in another nine months.

I bought an HTC One V off Amazon about 18 months ago brand new with 12 months warranty - I think it was about £180 a bit more than my budget but I had a load of "free" Amazon gift code money.
Anyway how about this one I'm no expert on phones, you're not a brand snob Steve it's Droid and Quad Core - £59.99 Virgin :-
Small on price but big on features, the ZTE Blade V packs an almighty punch. Take your pick from thousands of awesome apps, play games or upload selfies to Facebook in moments. And with expandable memory of up to 32GB, you’ve got plenty of room to store your precious music, photos and videos.
Quad-core processor – smoother user experience Android Jelly Bean 4.1 – access to thousands of apps Stylish brushed metal effect back – premium feel4" IPS screen with Corning® glass – crisper images 5MP camera and front facing camera – selfies made easy Large 1800mAh battery – talk, text and play for longer

Well..according to this..http://www.techradar.com/news/phone-and-communications/mobile-phones/nokia-x-normandy-1219003 Nokia will be releasing a cheap Android phone. It's like a tweaked version of Android but will still look like a Windows phone.
I can't understand why they can't just release a full Android version of phones along with their Windows phones, like what HTC, LG & Samsung did. They can increase their market by doing that.
