Well after scouring different flights and avoiding the April rip off with flights, finally got my wife and son booked to visit her parents back in the Phils.
Leaves March 30 returns May 7 with Emirates from our local airport Newcastle with good connections of 3hr 30 going and 2hr 30 return all for £698 for the both of them.
Certainly cheaper than Ethiad at £1,137 and Qatar at £1,368 so a happy chappy apart from missing them like mad, 38 days but suppose it will pass been there before...:bigcry::airline::philippines:

That sounds a reasonable deal Mark.
Do the airlines charge for infants these days....?
Make sure you keep the house clean and tidy

No charges for infants under 2 years of age. Also they get bulkhead seating with cot. If infant is given seating then they will be charged. Just like I was. .Full adult fare :NoNo:

Normally 10% of adult fare for under 2 years old (ie...'infant').
Over 2yrs and up to either 11 or 12 years (depends on airline) child's fare...usually 66% of adult fare.
I know, cos I've paid for a few.
Wishing them a safe journey Mark. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

It varies Peter I think just an admin charge Emirates £34, I think Ethiad about £70 or so...
