Astonished train travellers were shocked by an announcement made as a train pulled into Telford – warning people to beware of pickpockets and gipsies.

The guard should be promoted - as a service to the public he gave a common sense crime prevention message

More p.c. rubbish. :NoNo:

I just wish they'd gag those announcers totally.

Damned annoying !

Had a very similar case. Driver stood down from duty for warning customers about EE pick pocket gangs operating on the trains. Apparently an EE customer complained.
It took a while but common sense prevailed in the end.

I've a pleasant memory of waiting for a Metro train in Prague and seeing the Police use their boots and batons on a gang of Roma scum making a nuisance of themselves on the platform.

That's the only language they understand http://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/fighting/groin-kick-smiley-emoticon.gif
