Do I have to take English and Life in the UK test

I need your expertise on this.

I arrived here in the UK February last year. My spouse visa falls on the new rule (applied after July 2012). Before my visa expires, I would need to apply for FLR, my question is do I need to take English and Life in the UK test or its just for ILR>

You only need a pass certificate in the Life in UK Test and the B1 English Language Test for ILR applications. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
